VitalStim Therapy

VitalStim is the only therapy technique that stimulates the swallowing muscles using an external electrical stimulation. The use of electrical simulations has been practiced by physical and occupational therapy for many ears. VitalStim can improve dysphagia, then the patient can swallow more effectively, therefore reducing the number of illnesses and deaths caused by dysphagia.
