Optimal Home Care is a Colorado-owned and operated skilled home health care agency serving the counties of Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, El Paso, Elbert, Fremont, Gilpin, Jefferson, Larimer, Pueblo, Teller, and Weld.

Optimal Home Care was established in 2004 with the mission of improving and restoring our clients’ lives through quality patient care, innovative specialty health care programs and state of the art technology. The Optimal team embodies compassion, heart, patience, empathy, and competence to meet our patient’s needs.

Optimal Home Care is a Medicare and Medicaid certified agency, as well as an ACHC Accredited agency that provides skilled nursing, behavior health nursing, physical/occupational/speech therapy, medical social work, and home health aide services. We as an organization strive to improve and learn how to provide the best home health care possible in the industry without compromising the quality of care that our clients deserve in their home.

History

The concept of establishing a skilled home health agency in Denver, Colorado was developed between two best friends from California, who share the same convictions and passion to help people and the community. Edwyn Vergeire has a strong background in healthcare and management while Chad Fincher has the expertise in strategic and tactical sales and marketing as well as business processes. They are both very active in giving back to the community and are very involved with the church they are a part of. Starting a skilled home health agency made logical and spiritual sense to achieve their core goals of helping the community.

Chad and Edwyn decided to move their families to Denver with the hopes of building a business that could support their dreams of making a difference in the community through good and sound business practices as well as living their faith. Both Edwyn and Chad knew that in order to build this agency it would take a lot of faith, passion, and heart.

Optimal Home Care Denver has opened its doors in their Colorado office on February 1, 2005 with two people working for them. There were many challenges that the agency experienced in its first two years of operations but had overcome them though perseverance, faith and support of their families and friends.

To date, Optimal Home Care Denver has grown from a four-man workforce to a strong workforce of well over 300 staff and contractors. We have increased our service coverage in the north and south of Colorado. Edwyn and Chad fully believes that the agency’s strongest asset is its workforce. Employing competent and caring individuals has propelled the growth of Optimal Home Care Inc.

We believe that there will always be challenges in the home health industry and the constant changes in the industry’s rules and regulations. In spite of these challenges, Optimal Home Care Inc.’s management team commits to continually and consistently improves its processes and methods to make our services of utmost quality and affordable to the community.
